Job Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to operate and manage our sim racing rigs at events and functions. As a Sim Rig Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, supervising, and maintaining high-end and mid-tier racing simulators during events. The ideal candidate is computer literate, has a solid understanding of gaming hardware and software (PC and console), and can provide a professional and enjoyable experience for clients and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and pack down sim rigs at various event locations.
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot sim racing equipment during events.
- Assist guests in using the simulators, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Perform basic maintenance and diagnostics on PCs, consoles, and sim hardware.
- Ensure the equipment is clean, presentable, and functioning optimally.
- Report any technical issues or customer concerns promptly.
- Represent the brand professionally at all times.
Requirements:
- Computer literate, with a good understanding of Windows-based PCs and gaming consoles.
- Knowledge of gaming hardware and software, including sim racing titles (e.g., Assetto Corsa, iRacing, Gran Turismo, etc.).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, move and assemble heavy equipment safely.
- Reliable transport to and from events.
- Punctual, responsible, and well-presented.
- Prior event or technical support experience is a plus.
Work Conditions:
- Flexible hours based on event bookings.
- Travel to various venues.
- Training will be provided on specific sim rig models and software.
